Grace was my word for 2023 and it was so timely and created some profound changes in my life. Such a lovely and a life lived with Grace is beautiful! I hope you will share your journey with this word throughout the year!
I’m not a Christian but I love the selfnessless that’s connected to Grace. All of the bullet points speak of so much love and kindness, to yourself and others, and I cannot imagine anything better to focus on throughout the year.
Thanks Monique, I was worried that it would be a turnoff to non-Christians, but it was the easiest single word that came to my mind to encapsulate that love and kindness.
Grace is a beautiful and powerful word. Regardless of your perspective it can certainly be a guiding tool for your year. I don't usually choose a word for the year but, like you, had one randomly pop in during a meditation. It fit so well that I felt a spark of excitement and rightness. It is EXPAND. There are so many facets to this word that I have invoked it for the year. What do I need to do to expand?
Expand has a feeling of being less confined by expectations, social norms, past behaviors....a lot of pausing to examine our thoughts and actions before moving forward on autopilot.

Thank you Patricia. I already see one small change unfolding. It is getting easier to me to be more patient with people (but I have a long way to go)!
Love picking Grace as your word! Mine is Ascend. Blessings to you in your artist life. 🙏🏼✍🏼
Thank you Kimberly! Ascend is a beautiful choice, an upward trajectory from fear and gloom. I will hop over to find your post about it.
Yes! Exactly!! I’d love to have you! It’s my newest post.

Jo, I will join you in declaring and claiming this one, "Give my art and craft to the world as a reflection of God’s grace."
In my opinion, outside of the source of God's presence and holy spirit, we really can't extend or receive grace....
You've chosen a rich word, and I imagine a year to plumb its depths will be just about right.
As a Christian, I agree with you Jody, but perhaps with grace we become more gracious in our interactions with each other?
Agreed, the world could definitely use more of that! Good point.
